Freight Operations Supervisor

Con-way Freight-Canada is looking for people-oriented, highly motivated, self-starters who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. In this front-line supervisory position, you will supervise inbound, city, or outbound freight operations, with responsibilities including shift planning, freight loading and unloading, routing, proper documentation and procedure control for hazardous material shipments, and management of OS&D activities.

Position requires excellent organization skills, the ability to balance multiple tasks while positively motivating and communicating clear and concise directions to others. Must be a High School graduate, college degree preferred. Minimum of two years of industry or supervisory experience in LTL freight transportation required. Understanding of and ability to use computers is essential. Must be able to effectively manage deadline pressures while maintaining and displaying a positive attitude, team coaching skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Successful candidates will have demonstrated leadership, communication and administrative skills.
