Menlo Worldwide Logistics Opens Chicago-area Export Facility
SAN MATEO, Calif. - August 17, 2009
Menlo Worldwide Logistics, the global logistics subsidiary of Con-way Inc. (NYSE: CNW), today announced that it has created an export logistics center for Caterpillar Inc. with the opening of a dedicated Midwest-area export logistics center in Joliet, Ill. Initial activities will occupy 202,000 square feet of the 350,000-square-foot building, allowing for future expansion.

Bianco Jr., president, Menlo Worldwide Logistics. “We share a commitment to Lean principles, and our core values are very similar. We know we can provide the speed, cost and quality they want.”
Under the new relationship, Menlo will provide export consolidation services including receiving, export packaging and loading/shipping.
