Runner's World Selects Menlo Worldwide For Asia Distribution Operations

Company delivers integrated warehousing, inventory control and transportation management for fast-growing distributor of athletic apparel, footwear and accessories

SINGAPORE AND SAN MATEO, CA - December 14, 2006

Menlo Worldwide (NYSE:CNW) has been selected by Runner’s World, one of Asia’s fastest growing distributors of athletic apparel, footwear and accessories, for a turnkey warehousing and transportation management program servicing Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Under the contract, Menlo has established a Southeast Asia Distribution Centre for Runner’s World to support the company’s ASICS product line.  Menlo is providing a suite of integrated logistics outsourcing services, including:

  1. Inbound receipt of ASICS footwear, apparel and accessories
  2. Customs clearance and local drayage from portside to warehouse
  3. Dedicated, racked and security-controlled warehouse space for ASICS products
  4. Inventory control, product staging and warehouse management
  5. Processing, fulfillment and delivery of orders for retail business partners in Singapore
  6. Management of transportation for product shipments to Malaysia, Thailand and other Southeast Asia locations
  7. Technology systems for warehousing and transportation management, business metrics reporting and supply chain performance analysis.
