Con-way Freight Adds New, Faster Navigation Feature to Web Site
ANN ARBOR, MI - July 27, 2006
Registered users of Con-way Freight’s web site, www.con-way.com/freight, can now access, with only one click, the functions and secured personalized tools they use most on the site. The company, a subsidiary of Con-way Inc. (NYSE: CNW) announced the new feature, “myHome/Login” today.
Registered users will have the ability to work from a menu of personalized electronic tools and also have the option to create their own home page showing one of the tools when they log into the site. The tools menu would include electronic pickup requests, company-specific rating, customized performance reports, shipment tracking with email status reports, proof-of-delivery, electronic bill of lading creation, shipment manifests, freight bill copies, claims processing and electronic invoicing. “We’ve given shippers faster access to high-use tools that are company-specific and this added convenience will save them time during the workday while ensuring information accuracy and confidentiality,” said Jacquelyn Barretta, vice president and chief information officer.
