CFI Guarantees New Truck for Team Drivers

New Hires Will Have Choice of 2008 Kenworth T660 or Freightliner Cascadia for Limited Time

JOPLIN, Mo. - Nov. 28, 2007 - Contract Freighters, Inc. (CFI), a Con-way (NYSE: CNW) company and international truckload carrier based in Joplin, Mo., announced today that beginning Dec. 21, new driver teams joining the company will have the option to drive a new 2008 Kenworth T660 or 2008 Freightliner Cascadia truck.

The new, roomier over-the-road trucks are being made available on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 236 qualified teams hired. CFI selected the Kenworth and Cascadia models in direct response to driver feedback, which cited larger trucks as one of the top priorities.

The Kenworth T660 boasts an 86-inch studio sleeper, providing an additional 14 inches lengthwise in the sleeper area. Additional safety and comfort amenities include air-ride suspension, a slot specifically designed for a refrigerator and improved aerodynamics. Similarly, the Freightliner Cascadia offers reduced aerodynamic drag, an open, roomier cab and advanced suspension technology.

CFI responded to the request for larger, more comfortable trucks as part of its recently announced enhanced pay package, which also increased driver pay-per-mile and incorporated a number of other driver favorites.
