Southeast Asia Fashion Retailer EUT Fashion Selects Menlo Worldwide For Logistics Operations in Singapore

Menlo to establish, operate distribution centre providing dedicated warehousing, inventory control and order turnaround for Singapore fashion apparel market

Singapore - October 10, 2007

EUT Fashion, one of Singapore’s fastest growing retailers of international fashion apparel brands and accessories, has awarded a contract to Menlo Worldwide to design, deploy and operate its distribution centre serving the Singapore market.

EUT selected Menlo for an outsourced logistics solution with the goal of improving operational efficiency, inventory visibility and turnaround time of orders for customers in the Singapore retail fashion market.  Under the contract, Menlo is deploying an integrated package of capabilities and services to support EUT’s business growth and customer satisfaction objectives.

The program will utilize both existing and newly-opened Menlo distribution facilities in Singapore, and will incorporate a number of logistics and warehousing services for EUT Fashion, including:

  • Receiving, inspection and warehousing of a full line of EUT goods for its B.U.M. Equipment, Blush!, Hardy Amies & Arrow product lines, with another EUT product line, Byford, to add on in November.
  • Racking, shelving, inventory organization and staging, and security-controlled access systems designed specifically for high-value retail goods
  • Customs clearance and delivery of inbound shipments from the Singapore seaport to the distribution centre.
  • Fulfillment of product orders for EUT retail customers in Singapore
  • Domestic delivery in Singapore
  • Tendering of export shipments to nominated forwarders for overseas delivery
  • Value-added services such as price tagging, returns management and bundling
  • Technology systems for distribution centre management, inventory tracking and visibility, performance analysis and cost reporting.
