Group Medical Plan
The Company offers you several options for medical
coverage.Some of the options may not be
available depending on where you live or length of employment.Weekly premiums start from $11 depending on
your family status.We also offer plans
for pharmacy, vision and dental coverage upon qualification.Insurance takes effect on the first day of
the month following 60 days of full time employment.
Dental Plan
Dental insurance is available upon qualification.Once qualified the plan has a $50 per person
deductible per year. Con-way Truckload pays 100% of preventative services. Other services are broken down by specific
procedure.
Orthodontic Plan
Orthodontic Benefits are available to employees who are
enrolled on the Dental Plus Plan.The
plan is limited to children under the age of 19 and has a separate $50
deductible. Con-way Truckload pays up to 50% for a lifetime maximum of $1500.
Spending Accounts
Full time employees have two types of spending accounts that
can help pay for certain expenses not reimbursable by our other benefit
plans.There are the two types:
Disability Plans
We have Short and Long Term Disability plans for income
replacement due to non-work related illness or injury.These plans will be offered to you around 6
months of employment.
Payroll
Drivers are paid each Friday for miles dispatched before midnight on Saturday of the prior week. Driver's payroll is credited with the dispatched miles at time of dispatch. Delivery and paperwork are not required before payment is made. Advance Limits - $0.10 per dispatched mile.
Passengers
No charge. With a 12-month pass from the Safety Department, drivers may take anyone 12 years or older with them as a passenger. (One person at a time.) The company reserves the right to place certain restrictions on passengers.
Pet Policy
One small dog or cat allowed. Fee required.
Drivers attend orientation in Joplin, Missouri.
Each driver receives $25 for each day of orientation upon successful completion of the program. Con-way Truckload pays for motel room charges.
$1,000 bonus paid for each experienced driver or each experienced team hired as a result of driver referral.
Con-way Truckload provides each employee, free of charge, a $15,000 term life insurance policy.You will be offered voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance for you and your family as well as Personal Accident Insurance.
