A growing market such as Hawaii requires a constant, reliable flow of supplies, construction materials, agricultural products, and infrastructure components to keep pace with the demand for the local and tourist trades. Less-than-truckload (LTL) shippers to Hawaii have come to rely on Con-way to move all types of cargo to port facilities in Los Angeles for trans-shipment to locations on any island of Hawaii. Our reliablity and time-definite delivery has built a great reputation for servicing the Hawaiian Islands’ LTL needs.
We have two sailings to Hawaii each week, both leaving from the port of Los Angeles. The first sailing is on Wednesdays to the island of Oahu only. To ensure you receive the service Con-way is known for, your LTL freight must be in our ULA service center in Los Angeles by Tuesday morning to make this sailing, so please plan accordingly. The second sailing leaves on Saturdays to all the islands. Your freight must be in our Los Angeles service center by Friday morning in order to make this sailing.
Shipping arrangements are convenient and simple. Get all the details in our latest Hawaii shipping brochure, call your Con-way representative, or get a schedule of LTL sailings from the West Coast. Give us the essential information, and we'll take care of all the details.
The Tuesday sailing to Oahu takes 5–7 days.
