Westminster, M.D., resident Summer Smith, daughter of Con-way Freight employee Paul Smith of the Jessup facility, has been awarded a $1,300 scholarship from the Con-way Scholarship Program. Summer, who was homeschooled until this year, will attend Hillsdale College in the fall, where she plans to study English. Her interests include drama, Tae-kwon-do, art and writing.
