Portland, Ore., resident Eileen Yao, daughter of Con-way Freight employee Yi Yao of the Portland facility, has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Con-way Scholarship Program. Eileen recently graduated from Westview High School where she was a member of both the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society in addition to being a peer mentor and math teacher at BrainChild Education Center. She will attend Duke University in the fall where she plans to study Neuroscience.
