Kansas City, K.S., resident Anna Kucera, daughter of Con-way Freight employee William Kucera of the Kansas City facility, has been awarded a $1,300 scholarship from the Con-way Scholarship Program. Anna, a 2014 graduate of King's Kids Academy, will attend Kansas State University in the fall where she plans to study Engineering. While at King's, she attended various leadership camps, including the Worldview Academy Leadership Camp and the US Naval Academy Stem Camp. Her service to her community has not gone unrecognized either, receiving the Presidential Volunteer Service Award and induction into the National Society of High School Scholars.
