Tamaqua, Penn., resident Chelsey Valentine, daughter of Con-way Freight employee Paul Valentine of the Allentown facility, has been awarded a $1,400 scholarship from the Con-way Scholarship Program. Chelsey, a graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, will be entering her junior year at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania where she studies Elementary Education. She is an active member of Kutztown's National Association for the Education of Young Children and the Alaskan Pen Pal Project.
