Blythewood, S.C., resident Jasmine Farmer, daughter of Con-way Freight employee Andra Farmer of the West Columbia facility, has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Con-way Scholarship Program. Jasmine, a graduate of Westwood High School, will be entering her sophomore year at Furman University in the fall where she studies Political Science and Philosophy. Jasmine is very active in campus life at Furman, serving as Secretary of the university's NAACP and Student League for Black Culture.
