Norway, Mich., resident Valerie Forstrom, daughter of Con-way Freight employee Ann Forstrom of the Iron Mountain facility, has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Con-way Scholarship Program. Valerie, a 2014 graduate of Norway High School, will attend Moraine Park Technical College in the fall where she plans to study Respiratory Therapy. At Norway, Forstrom received the Gwen Dawson Youth Memorial Volunteer Award for her community service efforts, in addition to being a youth member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart.
